Lagang Khola (Brahmayani A) – 9.7 MW
Lagang Khola (Brahmayani A) Hydroelectric Project – 9.7 MW is located at 5 kilometers upstream of the Brahmayani HEP (36.52 MW). This project is a significant addition to our energy efforts. Generating 9.7 megawatts of power, this project taps into the Lagan Khola River, a tributary of the Brahmayani River. Placed strategically after the larger 36.52 MW Brahmayani project, it maximizes the river’s potential for clean energy production. This initiative reflects a concerted commitment to sustainable energy practices, contributing to the Nepal’s renewable energy needs. The subsequent exploration will delve into the technical aspects, environmental considerations, and the project’s impact on the local community and energy infrastructure.
